Large carved alabaster art deco pendant light
About the Item
Large carved alabaster art deco pendant light circa 1920.
We have be fortunate enough to source some of the finest alabaster lights over the years and this example is one of the best.
Beautifully coloured alabaster bowl which has a diameter of 28 inches. Hand carved with flowers such as roses around the edge. Stone has coral, whites and creams along with it's natural grey veining. Supported by 5 ropes, which are attached to the bowl by bronzed arms. Bell shaped ceiling rose in the same metal.
Light is fitted with 5 bulb holder's, it is still wired but untested. We recommend that the electrics are professionally tested and installed.
Minor surface marks, but overall fantastic condition.
