Large French Poillerat Style Globe Chandelier Wrought Iron Brass 1950s no.1 of 2
About the Item
Fantastic large french midcentury globe chandelier in Gilbert Poillerat Style, France around 1940s to 1950s. The chain-hanging and height adjustable pendant is made of red and off-white to creamy beige enameled wrought and twisted iron in combination with patinated brass. The extraordinary globe / basket shape chandelier which has four arms takes four E27 standard screw bulbs to illuminate. It stays in very good original vintage condition with typical characteristic wear consistent with age and use, partly minor losses of the paint and has a beautiful old patination. Wiring is good so all is fine working and ready to use. It measures 103 cm / 40.55 inches total height, the chain is 51 cm / 20.09 inches long. It has a width of 63 cm / 24.80 inches and a body height of 36 cm / 14.17 inches. Please note that this is no. 1 of two offered, the other one of the same model is available in our parallel listing.
