Large Opalescent, Frosted Art Glass, Six-Arm Chandelier Signed Ezan
About the Item
A very special opalescent, molded art glass chandelier with all glass stem and canopy signed Ezan, circa 1935. The armature is completely encased so that undulating glass forms with dotted block patterns convey an organic impression. A minimum of exposed mounting clips in silver plate bronze creates an even further, all glass illusion. The opalescent nature of the glass gives the hint of slight color. It is a chameleon to match any neighboring decor and can appear to have slightly shaded tints of blue, or pink, or yellow, or purple depending on sunlight and surrounding. Unfortunately the photos do not replicate the true nature, color and feeling of the luminous art glass.
In addition to the six candelabra sockets in the arms, there are two small bulbs to illuminate the central glass coupe.
We can custom lengthen, shorten and/or plate the chandelier for a surcharge.
