A large sisal Pendant or Ceiling lamp, vintage 1960s elegant Scandinavian design
About the Item
A very nice and substantial vintage ceiling string pendant lamp for Domus, Sweden in the style of Temde Leuchten. It is made of a of sisal rope giving a very nice ambience light to any room. It is a classic lampshade from the 60s, with a really nice color, a pale beige or sandy color, very much of the time, yet still timeless and of a fantastic if not, next to, perfect condition given its age. It is very elegant and give a fantastic light once the lamp is lit up and will add to any interior setting.
It is 37cm (14.56') in diameter and and 22cm high (8.66') and the price includes free shipping.
Domus was a cooperative in Sweden, during the 1960s to 80s they sold interior décor of solid quality to a reasonable price. The idea was that everyone ought to be able to afford to have a beautiful home.
NOTE the electric plug is currently suitable for Sweden and most EU countries and it takes an E27 screw bulb.
