Large Skyscraper Globes with Black Art Deco Design, circa 1928
About the Item
Single only available.
Unique Art Deco inspired design in black stenciled around the skyscraper milk glass globe on 6 panels.
Design in excellent condition with no noticeable paint loss or fading.
They are a good size at 12 inches across and would be perfect in a modern kitchen or bath. These can handle up to a 200 watt bulb!
The vertical ribs and stepped sides add additional visual interest to the strong sunburst pattern in the panels.
Shown on new nickel plated fitters. Most likely from a commercial building or school house installation from around 1930.
Overall drop as shown: 22 inches. Drop can be adjusted with minor charge for longer drop.
Rewired to UL standards including new UL sockets and code required ground wire.
Measures: Height of globe: 10 1/2 inches
