About the Item

Magnificent 16-light French chandelier from the late 19th century. Very fine gilt bronze and crystal Louis XV style chandelier. Faceted cut crystal column surrounded with open gilded bronze birdcage frame. 16 branches, all adorned with faceted cut pendalogue prisms, pendant prisms, half pear prisms and faceted crystal chain. The gilt bronze arms are alternating with 8 illuminated faceted crystal spears.
