About the Item
A very elegant ceiling lamp, manufactured by RAAK in the Netherlands circa 1960.
This eye-catching piece has a round aluminium base on which many clear glass cylinders hanging down in different heights. This gives the piece an icicle-like style like that of a chandelier. The cylinders are quite thick and are finished with beautiful details.
Each layer of cones diffuses the light differently, creating a multi-dimensional effect and emitting a beautiful warm light. It is this unique play with shapes and light that it owes it’s name to: “Lightfall”. This eye-catching piece of midcentury Dutch lighting will make an impressive addition to the decor!
It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a wonderful patina.
