About the Item

This is a Gilt Bronze Chandelier. It depicts a torch like fluted column in the center and six scrolled arms adorned with acanthus leaves coming out from it. Each one of the ribbed scrolled arms ends with a rosette decorated in the center with a pinecone. Between these arms, there are three nymphs/siren like figures that come out from the column that enhance the chandelier. The semi nude nymph figures are dressed with a skirt made of acanthus leaves and from them come out the other six arms of the lamp. The upper top of the torch column is embellished by a bunch of long feathers and its finial, by a pinecone. The chandelier use candle like bulbs.
