About the Item
This lamp is a unique one. It originally belonged to an art collector who had it made in the 1960s. The lampshade is the real showstopper! It's a beautiful basket made in cameroon around 1850. It was passionately transformed into this unique lamp in the 1960s, making it a rare and one-of-a-kind piece. Its shape is so modern and elegant! Just look at this basket! Can you feel the dedication of the artist who wove it some 200 years ago? I hope you enjoy this hanging lamp as much as I do! We've taken care of the cables and the lamp socket, too. The old ones had gotten a bit brittle over time, but we've got everything in working order now. The lamp thread is perfect for E26/E27 bulbs with a screw thread.
