Massive 62" Wide Mid Century Modern 24 light circular cone chandelier Lightolier

About the Item

This imposing and majestic original Mid-century Modern chandelier features a substantial 12-arm / 24-light design. A broad brass large ring supports double cone-shaped shades, with the upper shade casting nice light through opaque white glass and the lower shade crafted from spun and perforated aluminum, providing a soft glow and dual-directional illumination. The double sockets allow for upward and downward lighting in this Sputnik- type light. Twelve curved tubular bars elegantly extend upward, resembling a canopy from the circular, wagon wheel shape, reaching towards a coordinating two-tone round canopy. The fixture's skyrocket design and hourglass shape lends it timeless appeal, exuding a radiant and atomic aesthetic. Besides it's stunning sculptural appeal, what sets this chandelier apart is its robust construction and notable feature of a two tone finish in brass and silver, The chandelier can be lengthened for a surcharge. Can be used in an entry, living room, foyer, bedroom, kitchen, barn, hotel, lobby, casino, lodge, restaurant, dining room or in any space where an impressive statement is warranted. Condition:
Rewired: Rewired for U.S specs. Holds 24 Edison sockets to be used with LED or incandescent Edison bulbs. Wear consistent with age and use. In good condition. Original brass and nickel finish with very slight mottling here and there. A couple of the metal shades have small dents, as shown in pics. Glass shades with a few very small chips not obvious, and possible small imperfections.
