About the Item
Beautiful Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte style Pendant with brass structure and stunning curved light blue tinted glass shades. The three arms, positioning the light bulbs on different heights diffuse the light in opposite directions creating a bright and cozy atmosphere.
Max Ingrand, a renowned French master glassmaker and decorator, he has been Fontana Arte’s art director for a decade from 1954. During those years he designed true design classics, such as the Fontana table lamp, still one of the best sellers of the company whose name he bears. Trained at the School of Fine Arts in Paris, he directed his specialization toward the decorative arts, under the guidance of great artists such as Jacques Grüber and Charles Lemaresquier. He has created numerous stained glass projects for religious buildings, hotels, public environments and has been awarded La Legion d’Honor in France.
