About the Item
Maxime Old (1910-1991).
Exceptional and probably one-of-a-kind bronze eight-light chandelier with eight arms diffusing lights through original lampshades.
Two tones of brass and patinated bronze lightly oxidized, make this chandelier a perfect combination of colors with the same material.
When the chandelier is turned on, at night, different colors of the bronze appear to get different patinas.

We thank Olivier Old, Maxime Old's son very much to have kindly confirmed the authenticity of the chandelier.
After researches in the archives, Olivier old can affirm that so far, only one chandelier is located among the Artist production, it's ours! It probably comes from a special order to Maxime Old.
Newly fully rewired for use in the US.

- Condition:Replacements made: The shades are not the same than shown on picture. They will be replaced with 8 same lampshades covered in off white Ivory pongee silk. Rewired: Rewired to be used in US with eight candelabra sockets. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. Excellent original condition, different degrees of patina. Some minor marks on the bronze due to the age. Fully rewired for US. Lampshades in very good original condition.
