Mid-Century Art Deco Style Cristallo Rigaree Murano

About the Item

Experience the historical grandeur of this art-deco-style cristallo Murano pendant light, featuring long spiraling decorations reminiscent of curling ferns emanating from the wide cone-shaped central bowl. The piece is also distinguished by the flowing texture of the glass shade, similar to delicately draped fabric. Additionally, there is rigaree detailing on the spheres decorating the scrolling central finial. Rigaree is a decorative process that creates texture and a desired raised pattern. The design of this chandelier was developed after Ercole Barovier, whose glassworks continue to inspire and influence artisans today. Produced in the legendary glass houses of Murano, this piece is not just a lighting fixture but a piece of art, reflecting centuries of glassmaking excellence. The fixture’s luminous, crystalline glass is beautifully complemented by the polished chrome structure and finishings, ensuring a glistening ambiance in any space. The intricate details and masterful craftsmanship make it an exceptional statement piece that promises to elevate the sophistication of any space it occupies, traditional or contemporary. Dimensions without ceiling cover and chain: H=36 in. W=27 in. D=27 in. 15 lbs.
