Mid-Century Czech Ceiling Pendant Lamp by Josef Hurka for Napako, 1950s

About the Item

Imposing rod pendant lamp by Napako after a design by Josef Hurray. An elegant design of special materiality. An interaction of glass and reflecting aluminum. The screen consists of a flat aluminum shell. The shell is mounted on a rod closing up with a striking canopy. The light of the three bulbs seems primarily to the ceiling. Due to the diffuser disc made of satined glass in the middle of the screen additionally a light stroke penetrates. The luminaire is in very good condition with signs of wear. The surface of the bottom was professionally polished by an artisan on high gloss. The satin glass did had to be renewed. This piece has an attribution mark, It is completely authentic for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
