Mid-Century Glass Pendant Light with Optional Yellow Shade by Itsu of Finland
About the Item
A simple glass pendant light, with an optional lemon-yellow outer shade by Itsu or Finland. Mid-20th century. Labelled. A similar model shown in the Itsu catalogue dated 1963.
The light is made up of an onion-shaped glass body, which carries a separate ring shade of lemon--yellow acrylic embossed with a heavy fabric pattern. The piece can be used with or without the outer shade.
The light is in original condition, with signs of wear in line with age and use. These include minor marks to the glass, and very small nicks; the shade has marks and splits. The wiring is original and we advise this is replaced in the country of install to suit local needs and regulations. Labelled.
