About the Item
Mid-20th century pendant light made by G Holmans of Helsinki, Finland.
Simple elegant pendant light in brass and lacquered metal. The outer shade - white on the inside - simply rests on the white inner frame. Stamped with the G Holman mark inside the ceiling canopy.
The light is in vintage condition, with a nice used patina. There is age-related wear throughout and very slight twisting to the shape of the inner frame - see images for examples and overview. The wiring has been replaced in recent years, and we advise this is checked/replaced prior to installation to meet local needs. The original lamp-holder takes a single E27 bulb, and we advise low-heat models to protect this piece for the future.
