Mid-Century "Medusa" Chandelier Attributed to Stilnovo

About the Item

Could it be the infamous undulating serpents of Medusa's coiffure? Perhaps the billowing tentacles of a jellyfish or the sinewy arms of an octopus; or even the somber elegance of a weeping willow? Every interpretation of this showstopping conversation piece fills the mind with imaginative wonder. A masterpiece of Atomic Age design, this chandelier is perfectly crafted for optimal impact, with 16 gooseneck-style arms emanating from a central brass orb. Each arm can be independently moved and positioned to suit your taste and lighting needs; furthermore, each cone-style shade is thoughtfully crafted with an angled rim and white interior to help focus the light, while punched dots create subtle diffusion and playful texture. Note: height provided is measured from ceiling to lowest shade and includes the fixture, stem, and canopy. The fixture alone measures approximately 26" tall.
