About
This ravishing chandelier is made by Dutch midcentury lamp manufacturer par excellence RAAK Amsterdam. It was baptized cascade maxi-globe. This impressive piece consists of no less than nine elegantly shaped pendants. These pendants have a brass base carrying a smoked glass shade.
The glass shades have three different dimensions:
The biggest ones have a diameter of 27 cm (10.6 inch) and a length of 42 cm (16.5 inch)
The middle sized ones have a diameter of 24 cm (9.5 inch) and a length of 35 cm (13.8 inch)
The smallest ones have a diameter of 19 cm (7.5 inch) and a length of 28 cm (11 inch)
The nine maxi-globe all have a maximum cord length of 255 cm (110.4 inch) so they may be arranged to your own personal taste. They are attached to a wooden ceiling carrier measuring 60 x 60 cm (23.6 x 23.6 inch).
