About the Item

This stunning and sophisticated Mid-Century Modern chandelier was realized by Kinkeldey- one of Germany's most illustrious lighting studios of the 20th century, circa 1960. It features four shades consisting of highly textural rows of glass descending in height and height from the center. They glass panels are adjoined by lustrous chrome bands in the center of each that wrap around the top and bottom of the fixture. The fixture is supported by a cylindrical canopy and rod also in polished chrome. With its modern materials and clean clines, this piece is as versatile as it is stunning. It would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. Germany, circa 1960 Dimensions: 9.75" W x 9.75" D x 19" H.
