Mid-Century Modern Eight-Arm Chrome, Ebonized Walnut & Faceted Glass Chandelier

About the Item

This graphic Mid-Century Modern chandelier was realized in Denmark, circa 1960. It offers eight-arms emanating from a cylindrical body in ebonized walnut with a chrome finial of the same shape adorning its base. The chrome arms have geometric embellishments in ebonized walnut on their underside, offering both a material and formal counterpoint to the chrome supports. The deeply faceted cylindrical glass shades are etched with fine geometric detailing. With its sculptural presence and beautiful quality of construction, this piece embodies the qualities that discerning collectors of first rate Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design absolutely adore. Its clean lines and neutral palate make this fixture as versatile as it is aesthetically pleasing blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
