About the Item

Mid Century Cocoon pendant lamp by Goldkant Leuchten, based on a design by Friedel Wauer from the 1960s. A minimalist design. The Cocoon material provides diffuse, atmospheric light. At the same time, the symmetrical lamp body creates an impressive lighting feature in the room. The manufacturer Goldkant is known for various Cocoon lamp designs from the 1960s/1970s. Many Goldkant designs are often attributed to Castiglioni, as the patterns and shapes used are very similar. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. This piece has a rare Goldkant attribution mark.
