Mid-Century Modern Six Branch Brass & Glass Chandelier Attributed to G. Thurston

About the Item

This six branch brass with tinted amber glass shades is unsigned, but presumed to have been made in the United States by Lightolier and designed by Gerald Thurston in the period and style of Mid-Century Modernism. Each brass stylized angled branch features a slightly tinted amber bulb shaped shade, with a brass colored mesh insert topped by a white light diffusing CAP. The center post of this chandelier is accented with a brass Sputnik styled spray using the period rod and ball construction. This light fixture retains its original brass ceiling CAP and the chain length can be adjusted to suit the ceiling height.
