About the Item

This unique and elegant Mid-Century Modernist Six Globe Frosted Glass, Brass & Black Enamel Chandelier originates from Italy, Circa 1960. Features a horizontal rectangular composition with a serpentine brass frame supporting round frosted glass shades. The cylindrical framework leads inwards to a rectangular element from which the rod and canopy rise, rewarding prolonged viewing with subtle details and remarkable precision. Characteristic of the design motifs and materials of Mid-Century Modernism, this fixture will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards with height that can be adjusted to suit, this piece accommodates 6 candelabra base bulbs achieving up to 360 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
