This atmospheric mid-century pendant lamp by the German-Swiss brand Temde-Leuchten is a standout piece from the 1960s. Crafted with sisal rope—a signature Temde material—and accented with teak wood, it offers both natural texture and timeless elegance. The lamp emits a warm, cozy glow, perfect for creating a welcoming ambiance in any room. Recently re-wired and in excellent vintage condition, it’s a tasteful blend of Scandinavian charm and mid-century craftsmanship.
Temde-Leuchten, founded in 1911, was a renowned lighting manufacturer known for its innovative use of wood. By the mid-1950s, the company offered over 250 base models and won 31 iF Design Awards before closing in 1986.
