Modernist Brass Sputnik Chandelier with Black/Translucent Handblown Murano Discs
About the Item
This stunning modernist Sputnik chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features a satin finished brass frame with a spherical core from which an abundance of brass rods emanate outwards culminating in hand blown Murano discs with a black centers and translucent surrounds. The discs are spaced evenly giving the chandelier a dandelion like form that is at once sophisticated, dynamic and subtly whimsical. The chandelier accommodates 12 Edison based sockets (max 100 watts per bulb) and is newly rewired. The hanging height can be adjusted to suit your requirements. Excellent condition,
