This stunning modernist pendant was realized in Murano, Italy - the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features a spherical bodie in translucent Murano glass with a wealth of organic smoked detailing, lending each piece a unique organic expressionistic sensibility. This pendant secures to the ceiling via a cylindrical rod and convex canopy in oil rubbed bronze. With its austere silhouettes and beautiful glass quality, this pendant would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The pendant accommodates 1 Edison based Bulb and offer up to 100 watts of light.
