About the Item
This stunning and graphic modernist chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the islands off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for their superlative quality glass. It features an abundance of hand blown Murano glass obelisks in translucent, smoked and graphite hues exploding from a central orb. The fixture attaches to the ceiling via a cylindrical rod in brushed brass and connects to a cylindrical canopy in the same material. With its timelessly elegant and dramatic form, this chandelier would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. It accommodates twelve candelabra based bulbs providing up to 720 watts of light.
