About the Item
The Asilah chandelier by Ironies features a monumental drum form decorated with neoclassical quatrefoil designs. The chandelier is completely embellished with natural capriz shell veneer having a dramatic pearlescent finish. The open fretwork of quatrefoil designs gives the chandelier a Middle Eastern aesthetic with Moorish arabesque shapes. The frame is fitted with rubbed bronze hardware having eight lights. The drum is supported by a three foot long bronzed chain with a bronzed canopy for the top. The large drum form measures 29 inches high and 34 inches wide. Painstakingly crafted from organic materials with a subtle iridescent sheen creating intrigue. The chandelier was customer ordered from Kneedler Fauchere in Beverly Hills, CA.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery and construction. Very good, well-preserved condition given age and use. Age appropriate wear with minor chips, scuffs, scratches and tiny losses to veneer which are difficult to see.
