Murano Glass and Chrome Chandelier
About the Item
Large Murano glass & chrome chandelier or flush-mount light, Mid Century Modern style, attributed to Carlo Nason, for Mazzega Italy 1970s.
This vintage modern chandelier is made of chrome mounts and 7 Murano glass shades, in an opaline color:
from white & icy blue hues to amber & light sky blue when lighted.
Each Murano glass is nesting a light bulb: we recommend to use half chromed ones; and is professionally rewired for the US, with Medium base sockets.
The Mid century modern chandelier has a modern to space-age style, a mix between the delicacy of the glasses and the robustness of the chrome frame.
In excellent condition:
the seven Opaline glasses are perfect; minor signs of wear on the chrome frame. Normal with age.
