The light fixture is a vintage Murano molded glass pendant light, characteristic of Carlo Nason's Italian design from the 1960s and 1970s.
The elements are made of textured or hand-molded glass, often called pressed glass. This type of glass has a frosted/translucent texture that diffuses the light beautifully.
The Design: The plates are geometric, L-shaped, assembled in a cascade around the metal structure, creating a sculptural and modern effect.
This type of light fixture is typical of Brutalist design and the Space Age style. It recalls the creations of Murano (Italy), which produced highly decorative molded or blown glass lighting fixtures.
