Murano Midcentury Pink Art Glass and Brass Chandelier and Pendant, 1970
By Murano 5
Located in Rome, IT
Elegant Murano artistic glass chandelier with sinuous shapes, very essential and linear in shape but truly beautiful. Elegance also due to the beautiful workmanship of the glass lenses. Refinement and class as in the Murano style, unique pieces that always remain precious. Coming from an important hotel in vogue in the 70s in Venice, the chandelier has a structure completely made of brass tubes. From each rod hang frames made of brass boxes with large lenses in Murano glass, pink and silver. The lighting is truly "STELLAR", as you can see from the photos. A chandelier that turns on when the house is completely dark will give a sort of starry sky to your apartment. Eighteen light bulbs are inserted inside the brass and glass boxes...

Venini Midcentury "Tessuto" White and Crystal Murano Glass Chandelier, 1970s
By Carlo Scarpa, Venini
Located in Roma, IT
Amazing Mid Century White and Crystal "Tessuto" Murano Glass Chandelier. This wonderful object was produced in Italy in the 70s by Venini. Woven Glass created by Carlo Scarpa for Venini in the 1930s; similar to filigree but obtained using very thin reeds joined with alternating colors and flattened to form strips similar to fabric ribbons, joined and manipulated to obtain the desired design. This is an exceptionally beautiful chandelier due to the state of the piece, the size of the light but above all the subtlety of the Tessuto Murano Glass. A stunning piece of lighting with infinite elegance that will complement an art deco or mid-century living room or entryway perfectly. The Chandelier uses a single E26/27 light bulb. Scarpa was born in Venice. Much of his early childhood was spent in Vicenza, where his family moved when he was 2 years old. After his mother's death at the age of 13, he moved with his father and brother to Venice. Carlo attended the Academy of Fine Arts where he concentrated on architectural studies. Graduated from the Academy of Venice, with the title of Professor of Architecture, he was apprenticed to the architect Francesco Rinaldo. Scarpa married Rinaldo's niece, Nini Lazzari (Onorina Lazzari). However, Scarpa refused to take the pro forma...
