This good size, smokey amber glass pendant from midcentury Italy is another one of our recent finds. Handcrafted and mouthblown in one of the Venetian glass art studios in the 1950s this rare smoked glass pendant gives the light a warm and golden color / glow. The handcrafted metal frame has corroded / patinated somewhat and the blown glass that comes bulging through the frame is in superb condition.
Thanks to its timeless design and rare 'color' this chandelier is the perfect lighting solution for several kinds of interiors. To us, this is the perfect fixture for an entry hall or landing, but also in contemporary homes it could do great in other types of rooms and spaces as well. With the light switched on, the striking patterns that this pendant throws on your wall and ceiling create an atmosphere that is second to none. This natural beauty pendant from the midcentury era is absolutely free of cracks and chips and she is rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well.
