This wonderful and rare flush mount ceiling light is a standout example of the Nordic Functionalism from the 1930s, a design movement that sought to merge beautiful craftsmanship with industrial production, making quality design accessible to the broader public.
The opaline glass shade features a unique and organic soft-square shape, hand-decorated with deep green vertical lines that wrap gracefully around the form and converge at a central green medallion.
