Lovely and delicate French Art Deco frosted art glass blossom chandelier signed Noverdy, France depose. Its distinctive design comprises four "V" shaped, fan like, jagged edged panels, each depicting stylized floral, scroll and leaf motifs, creating a natural and visually captivating setting. JEAN NOVERDY- During the early years of the Twentieth Century Jean Noverdy studied and worked at the Muller Frerès factory at Luneville, France. In 1925, Jean and his father René Drouhot acquired Verrerie des Vosges, a glass factory, and later expanded their enterprise by acquiring another glass factory and establishing their own glass studio in Dijon. The glass produced bore the signature "Noverdy" for Nouvelle Verrerie de Dijon. Noverdy produced at the same time as Daum, Schneider and Degué, and the quality and design of his art glass have made his name world-renowned.
