This Murano glass chandelier was produced by Mazzega in blown glass, the structure is in brass. This pendant looks like a Space Age style flying saucer The historic Mazzega IVR glassworks has been the creator, since the mid-1950s, of a profound artistic and conceptual renewal in the field of artistic glass production in Murano. Starting from that period he collaborated with the artists of the Fucina degli Angeli which included in its ranks a refined and cosmopolitan elite of the European artistic world of the twentieth century: from Marc Chagall to Pablo Picasso, from Giò Ponti to Georges Braque and Jean Cocteau, from Fulvio Bianconi to Carlo Scarpa.
