PAIR OF VINTAGE LILAC HOLOPHANE PENDANT LIGHTS A stunning pair of vintage lilac Holophane Pendant Lights! Made in England, circa 1940. The trademark Holophane glass looks beautiful when illuminated or not with a subtle lilac tone adding an extra unique touch to these lights. The glass is stamped with the Holophane makers marks and model number, around the fitter neck "PATd 20222 ENGLAND" and between the prisms just below the neck "HOLOPHANE F200©" The brass fittings are also stamped "HOLOPHANE" and RD615447 and are listed in Holophane brochure as "Ornamental Crown Canopy" Looking at our 1937 Holophane brochure it seems this was a relatively new introduction to their range dating these to this period, Listed as Holophane Stiletto Reflectors "FOCUSING TYPE" and were available with crimped or plain edge and in a range of sizes from 6.5 inch to 15 inch diameter. With their unique features and undeniable charm, these rare vintage Lilac Holophane Pendant Lights will make a statement in any interior. The life size artist's figure stands at 6'1", providing a sense of the lights' scale and presence. When renovating our original reclaimed lighting all existing electrical parts are removed and renewed with modern electrical components. All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired & tested in line with BSEN Standards. As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
