Vintage Postmodern Italian Murano Glass Pendant Lamp, 1970s
About the Item
Mid Century glass pendulum with a distinctive shape.
An impressive glass object and a functional light source at the same time. The lamp consists of two glass elements that widen in a wave shape in the middle. The light comes out upwards and downwards. At the same time, the translucent glass shines as a whole. The two elements are connected in the corners via four distinctive screws. The heads of the screws have a hammered structure. The panes are mounted at a distance so that a joint is created. The edge shows an irregular wave shape, which is further accentuated by the emerging light. The fittings and other details are made of brass. The canopy is designed analogously to the socket. The lamp is in very good condition and has hardly any signs of wear. The electrics were renewed. Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
