Stunning and large alabaster pendant of great quality and superb condition. This rare fixture from the heydays of the European Art Deco era will light up both your days and evenings. Its remarkable, circular and layered shade is all hand carved out of one solid rock of alabaster. For this flush mount they clearly picked a beautiful rock for it comes with some unique veins and patches and they clearly polished the surface to perfection, making it even more special. The stunning, layered Art Deco shade is beautifully flat at the bottom and the mint stem and canopy are like the icing on the cake of the work of art (deco) light fixture. The perfectly circular layers are pretty thick and that too is why this pure Art Deco fixture still is in such amazing condition. It is so strong and structurally sound that it actually rings like a bell when you strike it. So this not only is one of the most stylish Art Deco alabaster lights we have ever had the pleasure of offering, it also is in very good condition. It must have taken one highly skilled craftsman a whole lot of time to perfectly hand create this remarkable Art Deco design and for it to still be in such good condition after 100 years too is like an ode to his craftsmanship.
