Stunning and large alabaster pendant of great quality and good condition. This rare fixture from the heydays of the European Art Deco era will light up both your days and evenings. Its remarkable, circular and layered shade is all hand carved out of one solid rock of alabaster. For this flush mount they clearly picked a beautiful rock for it comes with some unique veins and patches and they clearly polished the surface to perfection, making it even more special. The stunning and layered Art Deco shade is beautifully pointed at the bottom and the height adjustable canopy is like the icing on the cake of this work of art (deco) light fixture. The alabaster shade is still strong and structurally sound, to the degree that it actually rings like a bell when you strike it. So this not only is one of the most stylish Art Deco alabaster lights we have ever had the pleasure of offering, it also is in very good condition. It must have taken one highly skilled craftsman a whole lot of time to perfectly hand create this remarkable Art Deco design and the fact that it is in superb condition still is like an ode to his craftsmanship.
