About the Item
The fringes of the Fran lamp — made from sustainable rayon raffia, also known as Japanese grass — are sewn by hand into voluminous objects reminiscent of matryoshka, Asian lanterns, or traditional African masks. The lamps are made, through a production partner, by Latvian mothers and housewives who aren't able to work regularly, and are able to fabricate the lamps from home on their own time. The size and color of the lamp is customizable.
