If you search the internet for this Westing house closed arc street lamp you will find out just how rare these are. They are on every lamp collector’s wish list. It's nice to hang a rare lamp but it still needs to look great as well. I think this was one of the most striking Industrial lamps made. Both Adams-Bagnall and Westinghouse had designs that were very similar. The proportions of these lamps are smaller and a bit easier to place in a home. For a street lamp it has a sense of style rarely found in municipal lighting. The top is copper with a blue porcelain shade and frosted acorn globe.
