About the Item
Very stylish and high quality French Art Deco pendant light.
This beautifully handcrafted fixture from the 1920s is another striking example showing that the French probably were the best designers and manufacturers when it comes to early 20th century lighting. Their designs have an elegance and the materials they used are of a quality that you could not (and still can't) find anywhere else in the world. This stylish and handsome chandelier is not signed, but when we first saw this fixture (about two weeks ago) the first designer that came to mind was Jules Leleu. Anyone who has ever seen work of this French designer/artist will understand why. Both with the lights turned on and off, the combination of the wonderfully shaped bronze arms and the large gemstone-like glass elements makes this chandelier an absolute joy to own and look at. Its unique style and beauty will never fail to impress. Mind you, this chandelier too will be professionally rewired for safe and immediate usage the world over.
