About the Item

Extremely Rare “Moonlight” Ceiling Lamp by Jørgensen & Buck for Quality System, Denmark, 1963. • A striking and highly collectible piece from the early 1960s, this ceiling fixture was designed by the Danish duo Jørgensen & Buck as part of their Moonlight series for Quality System. The lamp is constructed from two spherical, red-lacquered metal shades of different sizes, both mounted on a polished chrome ring. This thoughtful design creates a sculptural, orbital effect, while the individually placed spheres allow light to be cast evenly in multiple directions, producing a warm and atmospheric glow. • The Moonlight series is celebrated for its space-age aesthetics and playful geometry, making it one of the more adventurous explorations in Danish modern lighting design. This ceiling version is especially rare and seldom seen on the market.
