Scandinavian 6 Light Chandelier in Teak Wood with Granulated Perspex shades

About the Item

We have reduced the price to sell, due to increased costs of selling on this platform we are closing our storefront on 1st Dibs at the end of Feb 2025 This is a more unique example of this 1960s style of Danish Ceiling Light/ Chandelier insofar that the shades are rectangular in shape - rather than the more commonly available examples with oval or circular shades The very essence of Scandinavian simplicity is captured in this ceiling light made of 4 long horizontal square sections of Teak Wood with short hand carved vertical struts supporting 6 Granulated Perspex shades each housing an E14/ SES lamp holder Max 40 Watt. The ceiling canopy is made from a hollowed out block of Teak and the whole piece hangs from the wiring cables The shades are intricately cast using sugar like granules which twinkle when the lights are on and as mentions they are unusually rectangular in shape with rounded corners
