Set of 2 Mid-Century Czech Minimalist Ceiling Pendant Lamps by Josef, 1960s

About the Item

Minimalist rod pendant lights from Napako based on a design by Josef Hurka from the 1960s. A minimalist design in shape and color. The shade consists of a simple metal ring that is painted matt black on the outside. The ring is mounted on a chrome-plated pendulum rod, which ends at the top with a canopy designed analogously to the shade. The bottom has a glass diffuser bowl. Diffused light falls downwards through the frosted glass. In addition, the light from the three lamps shines through the opening on the top as indirect room light towards the ceiling. The lamp is in good condition with clear signs of wear and patina. The lights were professionally rewired. This piece has an attribution mark, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
