About the Item

Moon lamps made of wood. These lights are attributed to various manufacturers and designers. Verner panton the classic moon lamp design. Materiality and design are reminiscent of the wooden panels hans-agne jakobsons. There are no sources for a definitive assignment. the luminaire body consists of annular fins arranged radially around the bulb. The fins can be manually faded around the pivot point so as to determine individually the shape and lighting effect of the light. The slats serve both as a reflector and as a glare protection. The lights show very elaborate details that are rarely found at other moon lamps. The sockets are provided with wooden panels. Furthermore, they have canopy from solid wood. the lights are in very good condition with signs of wear. Bulb: Without, e27 version up to 250v (europe/uk standard). We are offering for sale a pair of twin pendant lights made in Italy around the 1970s. We recently underwent a conservative restoration of the canes and rattan, as well as a complete rewiring of the electrical systems. Elegant and large, this pair of handcrafted canes and rattan pendants has a spherical shape measuring 42 cm in diameter and 39 cm in height. Chains made of woven natural fiber, through which the electrical cables are passed, bring the total height of these pendant lights to 85 cm.
