Small Antique Swedish 3-light chandelier, early 19th c

About the Item

A charming small Swedish chandelier made around 1820. The saucer-shaped bowl is handprinted in green with decorations in gold. The arms that depicts birdheads and classical faces. The candleholders are shaped as urns. This is one way a typical simple empire chandelier but very few of these have survived untouched until today. This chandelier has its original paint and original chains with small crystal beads that together gives it a charm that is hard to find. It is most likely made by Otto Fredric Richman (1750-1827) who was based in the city of Falun in Dalarna, Sweden.
