Space age chandelier by Terence Conran, for Erco, 1970s

About the Item

Chandelier designed by Terence Conran and manufactured by the German manufacturer Erco lightening, in the 1970s. This piece is made up of "lighting balls" in chrome-plated metal and black plastic, held by chrome-plated half-rings. They are adjustable up and down. They have porcelain sockets (except one plastic which has been replaced). Lamps are tested and in working order. Suspension characteristic of the space age style, well documented in general design literature
