About the Item
Mid century space age pendant lamp, Denmark 1960s
Impressive space age design pendant lamp. It has a flat top that holds a single bulb. The diffuser is made from metal scales overlapping each other. The overlapping scales disperse the light downward and sideward. The socket is adjustable in height by loosening two screws and moving it up or down. By adjusting the socket the light focuses more to the top or the bottom.
The diffuser has the original white lacquer and the top is painted dark blue (original)
The cap covering the ceiling mount is spring loaded. By pulling it down there is easy acces to hook it onto the ceiling. By realizing the cap it is pushed up against the ceiling without having to fixate it.
The lamp is still in very good condition with signs of use consistent with its age.

Large set of 15 space age flush mount lamps. The have a trumpet or tulip style shape. The measure 10cm in diameter and 11 cm in height (height measured without a bulb). Suitable for e27 LED, halogen and normal bulbs.
Made by German company Cosack in the 1960s. All the lamps are in good used condition with minimal signs of age and use.
They come without a bulb. The socket is a standard e27 screw socket. They are intended for hardwiring to a wall or ceiling junction box. The lamps are suitable for both European and US use depending on the voltage of the bulb used.
