Swedish Brass Pendant Light with Etched Glass Shade and Openwork Details
About the Item
A Swedish brass pendant light with etched glass shade and openwork details. Mid-20th century, designer unknown.
A nicely made piece with a thick glass shade held by a brass frame and three delicate loops and chains. Simple leaf designs are etched into the glass shade and the brass is pierced with stars and dots.
The piece is in vintage condition with occasional marks to the glass from rubs to the frame and minor nicks. See images for examples (and zoom in) and overview. New wiring will be required prior to install; the wire is fitted through the upper canopy (old wiring has been removed).
